Marvex.
The marine
standard.

Bedouin holds an exclusive distribution agreement with Marvex across the GCC. It is the only such agreement on our roster — every other line is held on representation, without territorial restriction. Marvex is a platform brand under the Marinox Group: ten specialist system brands under one engineering standard, organised across three operational groups — Vessel, Onboard, and Crew systems. Production launches in 2026. Bedouin is the GCC entry point.

The marine
catalogue.

Beyond the Marvex anchor, Bedouin represents a working catalogue of marine manufacturers across propulsion, electrical, climate, water, glazing, deck, AV and safety. Representation is held without territorial exclusivity — these brands are stocked, supplied, and supported as part of how we serve GCC yards, fleets, and operators.

— 03 —Sectors Served

Marine is the spine.
Other work flows from it.

Bedouin is built around marine. The same standards — corrosion resistance, sealed integrity, classed documentation, environmental tolerance — extend into the sectors that share them: offshore energy, industrial supply, building systems, and engineered components for clients with non-standard specifications.

— 04 —The Route Ledger

A route is a
record of stops.

A trade route is read on the ground, not announced. Below: a chronological record of distributorship appointments, regional stocking moves, and authorised-scope extensions. No composites, no projections — only what has happened.

2026Anchor partnership
Marvex — platform under Marinox Group
Marvex production launches in 2026 as a platform brand under the Marinox Group: ten vessel and process systems under one engineering standard, one warranty, one service channel. Bedouin is appointed the GCC entry point — the largest single-counterparty mandate the house has carried.

2024Land bridge
Eastern-Province road corridor — UAE → KSA
Opened a recurring trailer-freight corridor from Jebel Ali into the KSA Eastern Province, Jubail and Dammam — adopted as the default route for time-sensitive industrial and MEP shipments where feeder calls were too slow.
KSALogisticsIndustrial
2023Sector extension
Advanced engineering — added as fifth line
Trade route formally extended into advanced engineering — instrumentation, condition-monitoring and specialised mechanical lines for buyers who already knew Bedouin from marine and industrial work. Sector count taken from four to five.

BADAWĪ b - d - w"of the open desert · the unbound"
— 01 —The Name

The unbound.

From the Arabic root ب-د-و — "of the open desert," "the wandering," "the unbound." The Bedouin are the original Arab traders. For over a thousand years they moved goods, knowledge, and culture across territories no map fully described.

They survived the harshest geography on earth not by conquering it but by reading it: knowing where the water sat beneath the sand, which star marked the path to which oasis, which family owned which well.

A trade house that takes the name Bedouin claims a particular inheritance — small disciplined teams that carried valuable cargo across difficult terrain because they knew the route.

وسم  ·  WASM tribal markthree dots · three cups · three commitments
— 02 —The Mark

The wasm.

The three brass dots beside BEDOUIN are not ornament. They are a wasm — a tribal mark. The wusum system is a long-standing practice of marking ownership and lineage through dots, lines, and geometric symbols.

The mark signals lineage and home — registered, anchored, accountable. Three dots reference two things at once: the wusum tradition itself, and the three cups of قهوة qahwa served in the Bedouin hospitality ritual — welcome, protection, conversation. Three commitments the brand makes to every client.

— 03 —The Honour Code

Three virtues.
Operating constraints.

The Bedouin honour code defines three virtues. Bedouin Global treats them as operating constraints — every commercial decision must answer to them. They are testable; they are what the supply team is measured against.

— 01 —

Diyafa

ضيافة

Hospitality. Even an enemy at the tent is owed three days of shelter. We extend the same patience to difficult specifications, awkward timelines, and small orders. The cup is poured.

— 02 —

Sharaf

شرف

Honour. We name our partners. We disclose our pricing structure on request. We do not sell what we do not stock or cannot source within a documented lead-time.

— 03 —

Muruwah

مروءة

Endurance. Long-term parts continuity, regulatory compliance over the life of an installation, a documented service path — these are not add-ons. They are the supply.

— 04 —The Supply Team

Four cells.
One team.

We do not have a sales team. We have a supply team that talks to clients. Four functional cells share the work; we name people in writing on the engagement. The person who acknowledges your purchase order is the person who knows the freight status — no call centre, no tier-one filter, no anonymous mailbox.

— Cell 01 —

Leadership & Direction

"Sets the route."

Manufacturer relationships, sector entries, partnership terms, regulatory commitments. Final accountability for what the supply team agrees to.

— Cell 02 —

Technical Supply

"Reads the specification."

Replies to specifications with manufacturer references and documented lead-times. Verifies class compliance and certification packs before purchase order.

— Cell 03 —

Supply Operations

"Moves the goods."

Manufacturer purchase orders, freight, customs, regional stocking, yard delivery. Owns the chain from manufacturer floor to client receipt.

— Cell 04 —

Account Management

"Holds the relationship."

Named contact for every active engagement. Parts continuity over the life of installations, recall awareness, service-path documentation.

— 05 —Who we serve

Five buyers.
One discipline.

The supply team is built around five buyer archetypes — one per sector. Different cycles, different documents, different pressures; but all of them write their own specifications, and all of them measure us against the same things: lead-time honesty, paperwork that survives audit, and an account contact who is still there next year.

قهوة
QAHWA the cup
— 06 —A note on hospitality

The cup is poured,
then poured again.

Gulf hospitality is a working tradition: the visitor receives gahwa — Arabic coffee — without being asked, and the cup is refilled until the guest signals enough. We mention it because it shapes how we respond. Difficult specifications, awkward timelines, small orders are met the same way as large ones.

Every quote is technical. Every relationship is direct.
The brand is the behaviour. The mark is the receipt.

— Plate II · Leadership —

Named principals.
By appointment.

Bedouin's leadership is small, declared, and reachable. We don't publish names on a public roster — they're shared with parties under engagement, alongside the trade licence and manufacturer authorisations. The roles below are what you'd be reaching.

What we don't carry, we name a peer who does. Lines on the catalogue are reviewed annually against operational performance, parts continuity, and class compliance.

Where the lines
come ashore.

Bedouin trades from the UAE into the Gulf and the wider Arabian basin. Hub-and-corridor — not a global freight network.

The map below is what we move, where we move it, and on what terms. Anything outside it we'll quote case-by-case; we won't pretend the corridor exists when it doesn't.

Where the corridors
come ashore.

Reach is grouped by where it lands, not by port atlas. If your delivery point isn't here, we'll quote it case-by-case — but we won't pretend a corridor exists when it doesn't.

— 02 · Corridors —

Three corridors.
Pick the one that fits.

Every shipment we move runs on one of three patterns. The pattern decides the lead-time, the price-shape and the document set — so before we quote, we'll tell you which one we're quoting against.

— Corridor 01 —
I.

UAE GCC recurring sea freight

The default. Catalogue lines, scheduled weekly windows, predictable lead-time, container or breakbulk.

— Who it's for —

Yard buyers, MEP and industrial procurement teams ordering catalogue stock against a programme that has weeks of headroom. The right corridor for anything that isn't on fire.

— What it carries —
  • Catalogue lines — pumps, fluid lines, MEP equipment
  • Project consolidations — multi-line shipments to one PO
  • Marvex line work — vessel and process systems

UAE KSA land bridge · road

The fast lane into the Eastern Province. Trailer freight overland — beats feeder calls into Dammam by days when the programme is tight.

— Who it's for —

Site teams in KSA — industrial maintenance, MEP fit-out, EPC project procurement — where a feeder rotation is too slow and the delivery point is a yard, plant or construction site, not a port.

— What it carries —
  • Industrial spares — for shutdowns and unplanned maintenance
  • MEP & site fit-out — phased to the construction programme
  • Project cargo — to inland sites off the port grid

UAE yard / vessel port-call delivery

Last-mile to a vessel alongside or a yard berth. We work to the call window, not the calendar.

— Who it's for —

Fleet engineers, refit yards and offshore-supply leads who need a part aboard before the ship sails. The corridor for marine consumables, spares and any line-up where the schedule is set by the call.

— What it carries —
  • Marine consumables & spares — to vessel alongside
  • Refit parts — to yard berth on the slip programme
  • Offshore-supply staging — to the supply-base window

What we don't do.

Naming the basin is only useful if we're explicit about what we don't run. The list below is the boundary — anything past it is a quotation, not a corridor.

— 01 —No global freight network. We don't position ourselves as a worldwide forwarder. Beyond the GCC the corridor is built per shipment.
— 02 —No bonded warehouse outside Jebel Ali. Consolidation runs through one hub. We won't fake a depot we don't operate.
— 03 —No same-day promises beyond the call corridor. Port-call work is the only line where hours-not-days is a number we'll write down.
— 04 —No air-freight as a default. Quoted on request when the corridor calls for it — not as a substitute for a programme that started late.
— 05 —No commitment on lanes we haven't run. If you ask about a destination not on the reach panel, we'll say so on the call — and quote the route as a one-off if it's worth running.
— 04 · Trade terms —

Incoterms we trade on.

Standard ICC 2020 terms. Pick one in your enquiry and we'll quote against it; if you don't, we'll propose the one that fits the corridor.

— EXW —
Ex Works
Pickup at our hub. Buyer takes the freight and clearance — useful when you have a contracted forwarder.
— FOB —
Free On Board
Loaded at Jebel Ali. The default for sea-going FCL into another GCC port.
— CFR / CIF —
Cost & Freight
Delivered to destination port. We arrange the sea leg; insurance under CIF.
— DAP —
Delivered At Place
Site / yard delivery on the land-bridge corridor — clearance handled, last-mile included.
— DDP —
Delivered Duty Paid
Used on port-call work where the buyer wants alongside-vessel delivery clean of all duties.
— Other —
By arrangement
CPT, CIP and FCA terms quoted on request when the corridor calls for them.
